STEP 1 - Start by installing the U Edge Trim or Corner Cove on the first edge and one adjacent edge using the recommended screws.
STEP 2 - Insert the tongue side of the panel into the trim, leaving a 1mm gap for thermal expansion.
STEP 3 - Secure the VJ panel in place, making sure it’s screwed into the ceiling joists every 600mm. Attach the provided fixing clip to the grooved edge and screw it into the joist. Then, slot the tongue of the next panel into place.
STEP 4 - Repeat the previous step, continuing to add panels until the entire ceiling is covered.
STEP 5 - Before installing the final panel, make sure to position your chosen trim along its length.
STEP 6 - Secure the last panel with screws.
STEP 7 - Leave a 1mm gap for expansion and ensure there’s enough space to fit the U Edge Trim over the screws.
STEP 8 - Cut the EA Trim to the required size, then glue it into place using a PVC-friendly construction adhesive. (Note: Only the last panel should be glued—others should be screwed in.)
STEP 9 - Hold the trim in place with painter’s tape until the adhesive has fully dried.
